![]() ![]() I think for Tundras, we are lucky there are various choices, I went with Stainless works because I've seen their stuff in person before and liked the quality, I try to buy the best product I can afford to keep potential issues low, as an advice, don't go for the catted version, their 3" aftermarket cats make the truck stink, it was as if I was running straight pipes, and I couldn't figure out how to disable the O2 sensor codes, I tried just about every type of foulers there were and nada, so get the straight pipe version, and be prepare to fab up your own mid pipe section, this is not an easy job, but thankfully my exhaust guy GT Customs knew what's up. Then my next project was long tube headers. The first week I had the truck, I loved everything about it, I thought I would miss my Rebel, but I didn't. My goal with this truck is OEM +, everything must make the truck better in one way or another. I asked for 2 things before delivery, one was tint, another one was my 285/75r18 Yoko X-AT tires, I had great experience with the X-AT and I did not want to do BMC for a while. The wait was long, there was lot of unexpected delays due to Covid and lack of supply of Tundras in Canada, but I finally got it on November 8th, 2020 When my wife got her 4runner TRD Pro, I just liked the way it drove and the cool color, by the time my mind is made up, there was one 2020 TRD Pro in Army Green left in Ontario, I was set to get it until the wife brought up its slightly weird that both are the same color, so I told my dealer I'll go for the Lunar Rock, I figure if its a TRD Pro, might as well get the special color since this will be last year of the V8. I wanted a TRD Pro for a while, but as life happens, it takes a while to come to a full circle to get what you want. Talon's Garage transmission/transfer case skid plates Stainless works long tube headers, custom mid pipe with factory cats, x pipe, trd dual exhaust. ![]() As thread indicated, this is a document of my experience and my obsession with modifying things with this truck. ![]()
